Margaret est peintre à l'origine et à décidé de s'intéresser à la technique des hologrammes pour élargir la vision traditionnelle de l'art. En 1985 elle crée l'autoportrait que vous voyez au dessus. Elle décrit sa démarche en 3 temps :

1ère phase : exporation des aspects uniques de l'hoogramme.

2ème phase : début de "l'hybridisation" des hologrammes avec d'autres médias.

3ème phase : utilisation du corps humain exclusivement dans un aspect personnel thérapeutique utilisant un laser rubis à impulsion.

La version française de l'histoire est après l'anglaise.

KATO is the comicbook shop of Alexa.

When I arrived in Hamburg I was walking around with Peter to discover the city. We were walking in some sort of business area in the center and then we saw some people playing ping pong in an allee. We went there and asked them what was the place. They explained it was a squat with artists' studios and all. It was all very relax. It is called the Gängeviertel. We went to the shop and we met this woman names Regina. She was really nice and enthusiastic promoting the whole place and all their activities. When she knew i liked comics she told me that I should go meet Alexa, she was in charge of the Comicbook store and opening every thursday between 15h and 20h.

After that I went there every thursday. We talked for hours with Alexa while listening to music. She offered me tea and we exchanged comics and she borrowed me some. She also helped me with many things giving me some tips with where I could find things or who I should talk to to organize the event for KSATn°4. We started being friends, and KATO will stay one of my good memories about Hamburg, whatever happens next.

KATO c'est le magasin de bédés d'Alexa.

Quand je suis arrivée à Hambourg on marchait au hasard avec Peter pour découvrir la ville. On marchait dans une sorte de quartier des affaires quand on a vu des gens jouer au ping pong dans une allée. On est allés leur demander quel était cet endroit. Ils nous ont expliqué que c'était un squat avec des ateliers d'artistes et pleins d'autres choses. C'était très relax. Ca s'apelle le Gängeviertel. On est allé voir le magasin du squat et on a rencontré cette femme, Regina. Elle était très cool et enthousiaste à faire de la promo pour le squat en nous expliquant toutes les activités. Quand elle a su que j'aimais les bédés elle m'a dit que je devrais parler avec Alexa, celle qui avait le magasin de bédés ouvert tous les jeudis de 15h à 20h.

Après ça, j'y étais tous les jeudis, on parlait pendant des heures avec Alexa en écoutant de la musique. Elle m'offrait du thé et on échangeait des bédés, elle m'en prêtait aussi. Elle m'a aussi aidé avec beaucoup de choses, en me donnant des conseils sur où je pourrais trouver certaines choses ou à qui je devrais parler pour organiser l'évènement pour KSAT n°4. On a commencé à devenir amies et KATO restera un de mes bons souvenirs de Hambourg, peu importe ce qu'il arrive.

J'ai rencontré ce type il y a 2 semaines avec Chryssanthi. On voulait aller au Hasenschaukel, un bar que j'aime beaucoup ici. C'était fermé, un lundi soir je crois. On a trouvé devant la porte ce type. Il avait l'air triste mais le visage tellement souriant. Je n'avais jamais vu des cheveux aussi blancs, et sur un tein hâlé il était magnifique. Son physique tellement inoubliable et particulier. Sa barbe était mélangée de blanc et de gris. Il avait un accent quand il parlait allemand. Il a 72 ans, il est perse mais vivait en Allemagne depuis tellement longtemps.

A l'époque il était juriste pour les personnes qui n'avaient pas beaucoup d'argent.

Il nous a raconté beaucoup plus mais mon allemand n'est pas assez bon pour tout comprendre. Il a fait de la promotion pour le bar en disant que les proprio étaient comme ses filles et qu'il se sentait comme chez lui près de ce bar et de ces arbres en face qu'il regardait.

Il avait une bière à la main et quelques autres cachées dans les poches de son imper. Il était un peu gêné mais il disait qu'il aimait bien la bière. J'aurais aimé échanger plus mais mon allemand... Je n'ai jamais tant regretté de ne pas mieux parler allemand. Chryssanthi a échangé plus que moi, puis on s'est éloignées.

Depuis, je suis hantée par son image, il me fascine assez, j'ai envie de retourner au Hasenschaukel et de le retrouver, de parler avec lui, plus longtemps, d'en apprendre plus sur sa vie. Mais mon allemand.... c'est énervant....

Quand on est parties il nous a dis à quel point ça lui avait fait plaisir d'échanger quelques mots et qu'il allait bientôt mourir, il a un cancer de l'estomac.

Je repense souvent à lui.

I met this guy 2 weeks ago with Chryssanthi. We wanted to go to the Hasenschaukel, a bar that i really like here. It was closed, monday evening I think. We found this guy in front of the door. He looked so sad yet having such a smiling face. I had never seen such white hair, and on his tanned skin is was so beautiful. His looks was unforgettable and singular. He is 72 years old, he is persian but living in Germany for so long.

Back in the days he was a legal councellor for people who couldn't afford it. He told us much more but my german is not good enough to understand everything. He promoted the bar telling that the owners were like his daughters and that he felt at home there, next to this bar and the trees in front of it.

He had a beer in the hands and some other hidden in the pockets of his jacket. He felt a bit embarrassed but said he really liked beer. I wish I could exchange more with him but my german... I never regretted that much that i didn't talk better german. Chryssanthi talked more than me and then we went away.

Since then I am hanted by his image, I'm quite fascinated, I want to go back to the Hasenschaukel and find him again, talk with him, longer, learn more about his life. But my german.... It's annoying...

When we left, he told us how happy he was that he could talk a bit with us and that he was going to die soon. He has stomach cancer.

I often think about him.

L'autre jour je suis entrée dans une rame de métro remplie d'enfants. C'est mignon les enfants, y en a même des cools, mais en groupe c'est EFFRAYANT.

The other day i entered a wagon in the metro full of kids. Kids are cute, some of them are even cool, but in a group it's SCARY.

P.S: If the english is not perfect it's because it's not my mother tongue, and if the french is not perfect it's because i'm too tired.

P.S : Si l'anglais n'est pas parfait c'est parce que c'est pas ma langue maternelle et si le français n'est pas parfait c'est parce que je suis trop fatiguée.
